I played an open mic this week, with a new friend of mine. We played an acoustic open mic at a restaurant/bar in Woodstock. We played 3 songs:
-Gold Dust Woman - Fleetwood Mac
-Open Up Your Eyes -Tonic
-Hard Sun - Eddie Vedder
It was a fun time, and good to play music in public again. It does not look like anything further will come of it (like a band or anything) but it was just fun to get out and sing again.
Sometimes you have to take the time to do what you love, and understand that it may just be what it is and nothing more. Have fun and move on.
